Fit Your Ability is dedicated to helping all abilities achieve their goals with an NDIS Personal Trainer. Our NDIS-registered Personal Trainers and support workers have developed specialised techniques over the years to help them provide an effective pilates experience for clients with disabilities. NDIS pilates can help promote physical health, mental clarity and relaxation. Our PTs offer private Pilates classes in our 100% private studios and in-home and mobile training in your home or any of your preferred venues.
Disability Pilates
Pilates is a great form of exercise for people with disabilities, as it offers a low-impact and safe way to stay active. This exercise aims to strengthen muscles and improves core fitness and balance. Individuals with disabilities like cerebral palsy and autism may also benefit from this exercise.
We are Australia-wide
Our NDIS-registered Personal Trainers can train NDIS participants in yoga in one of our 100% private studios. We also have mobile Personal Trainers around Australia in all the major cities. So, if you’re looking for qualified yoga instructors, consider our NDIS-registered Personal Trainers. We have disability yoga sessions on the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, the Sunshine Coast, and Ipswich. And we are expanding to more cities soon.
Will the NDIS pay for Pilates?
Even though the NDIS does not specifically cover pilates, it is possible to do a pilates-style session, depending on funding. Fit Your Ability is registered for seven line items on the NDIS, enabling us to assist NDIS participants in achieving the goals they have funding for through fitness and recreational activities such as pilates.
